Boruff Violin Studio is a premier, violin lesson studio serving the greater Charlotte, NC area. We LOVE getting to work with students of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. Lessons are offered all day Mondays through Saturdays and are typically 30 minutes, but we also offer 45, 60, and 90 minute lessons as well. In addition you’ll have the opportunity to participate in studio workshops to learn ensemble skills and studio masterclasses with world-renown guest artists!

We accepts students of all ages and backgrounds on a regular basis. If you’ve played for 10 years or if this is your first musical experience, regardless – we’re here to help! Our teachers are all local professionals with many years of experience both in performing and education, so we’re happy to accept students of all skill and experience levels!

We offer lessons at three different locations in the Charlotte area: Huntersville, Fort Mill, and Weddington/south CLT. Currently, we have students coming to us as far north as Statesville all the way to South Carolina and everywhere in between!

My 7 year old daughter has been taking violin lessons with Eric for about 6 months now. I have really enjoyed seeing how she has progressed from knowing nothing about the violin to being able to play short songs that she knows. Most importantly, my daughter is excited every week to see "Mr. Eric." Violin lessons are a fun time for her. He is much better than former teacher 15-20 years ago. He is patient and I very much like the Suzuki method that he uses. I can sincerely recommend him to anyone. And I am 64 years old, so it's a little harder for me than a younger person. I do play other stringed instruments but they all have frets, which is quite different!
